​Our Facultys' Field Crops Department members Prof. Dr. Gülsüm YALDIZ and Assistant Professor Mahmut ÇAMLICA, 3rd year students of the Department of Field Crops and Seed Science and Technology, within the scope of the "Organic and Sustainable Agriculture" course,  did a technical trip to the "Mudurnu Enerji Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş."

Within the scope of the technical trip, students will have the opportunity to observe on-site the energy production of "Mudurnu Enerji Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.", which has been operating in the energy and fertilizer production sector in Mudurnu district of Bolu province since 2020. The Students get the chance to observe the stages of obtaining liquid and solid organic fermented fertilizers left behind from energy production. 

The students were hosted by the Business Manager Environmental Engineer Mustafa Yavuz KURU, Deputy Manager Industrial Engineer Onur ACAR and Environmental Engineer Halil EROL and the company employees. The technical tour was organized by Deputy Managers Onur ACAR and Halil EROL at Mudurnu Enerji Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. After detailed information presentations about the plant, all processes from biomass supply to energy and fertilizer production stages were explained and demonstrated on site during the facility tour.
