The 9th Turkish Plant Protection Congress with International Participation, Turkey's most prestigious scientific event in the field of plant protection, organized in collaboration with the Turkish Entomological Association, the Turkish Phytopathological Association, the Turkish Biological Control Association, and the Turkish Herbological Association, was held in Ankara from September 3–5, 2025, hosted by the General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies (TAGEM). This prestigious congress, which drew considerable interest from leading scientists and researchers in the field, shared current research and innovative applications in various areas of the Plant Protection discipline, while also providing an important platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience among participants.
 
Our faculty members and graduate students of the Department of Plant Protection were strongly represented at the congress with their active participation and presentation of papers and posters.
