A significant cooperation protocol has been signed between our faculty and the Western Black Sea Research Institute.

The protocol aims to preserve the genetic material from the Grafted Turkish Hazelnut Genetic Resource Garden, established by the Western Black Sea Research Institute in 2008 at the Bolu Forest Nursery, in an area designated by our faculty, and to continue scientific research on it.

The signing ceremony was attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa ALİŞARLI, Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Mustafa İMREN, and Director of the Western Black Sea Forestry Research Institute Dr. Mustafa ARSLAN.

Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa ALİŞARLI commented on the collaboration, emphasizing the great importance of the protocol and wishing it success.
