On April 9, 2026, a practical training session on the use of agricultural drones for spraying and fertilization applications within the scope of modern agricultural technologies was held at the Faculty of Agriculture's Application Area for students of the Department of Seed Science and Technology. The event, led by our faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kenan Geçer, aimed to allow students to observe and gain practical experience with modern agricultural technologies.

During the event, students were first given theoretical information about the working principles of agricultural drones, their areas of use in agricultural production, and their importance in smart farming applications. Then, agricultural spraying and fertilization operations using agricultural drones were demonstrated practically in the field.

Through these applications, students had the opportunity to observe firsthand how UAV technology is used in agricultural production and to follow the process directly. The event aimed to contribute to the development of students' knowledge and practical skills in modern agricultural technologies.
