Field Crops, which was opened within the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Sciences of Abant İzzet Baysal University with the decision of the Council of Higher Education dated 02.05.2014 and numbered 3006/26759, started to accept students as of the 2014-2015 academic year.
Field crops have a special place and importance in the development of agriculture and agriculture-based industry in Turkey, as in the world. In general, it is the plant that best adapts to the ecological characteristics of the country. They are the most important products that largely meet people's basic needs such as nutrition, clothing, shelter and treatment. Field crops are the basic food of not only humans but also farm animals.
Our faculty has trial areas (127,318.91 m2) in the Adalar area of Karaköy village within the campus development area of our university, and in these trial areas, students will be able to put into practice the theoretical knowledge they have received in courses under the supervision of faculty members, and will be able to meet the needs they need in regular professional practices, summer internship studies and postgraduate education. will be able to conduct research.
